To guy who suffers from mental health, I feel you man. I have suffered for 10 years. At the beginning I would have full on panic attacks, it was horrible, but now I feel much better. Just keep going man. Like Alex said, don't let it beat you down. I use making music to escape and I will probably never make it in the music business, but I will always love making music even if it's just a hobby. And Alex, I understand that you are a very busy guy, but please don't leave us. I really enjoy watching your videos. Even the tutorials even though I don't use the same DAW as you, I still learn shit from you.

Informative & funny as always. To the guy who has no support from his parents. In 1990 when I told my parents I wanted to be a DJ, I had the same reaction "All DJ's are gay" and "Why would you want to play 2 records at the same time" ha ha.

Bruh, that segment at 8:58 is the realest talk I've heard from you yet. I co-sign that 100%. I would definitely advise any other career path and keep this as a hobby. Too many dreamers out there. I spent my 20s learning to produce (30 now) while I could've finished university 3x over. It's not a healthy lifestyle at all. I'm still happy I did it, but if I had to do it over, I wouldn't. Not like this, anyway. And further, some people are just born for greatness. If what I said doesn't discourage you, then you're the type of person who _can_ make it. But if you're the type of person who's worried about lack of support, then take the hint and understand you don't have what it takes, and that's okay. People at the top gave away everything else they could've done to be there with only a small chance of success. You need steel resolve if you want to this, and even then you have to understand this is a very high risk for an only passable reward. You have to love the struggle and you have to be okay with landing in the gutter.

Congrats on your new site. Good luck! Also, some good advice to beginner electronic musicians. Yeah, it's the truth. Nobody's coming to save you. This is no different than making crafts, fixing cars, making web sites, whatever. You are your own best coach and critic. If people are not noticing you, practice, practice, practice. Finally, keep up the good work Alex!

4:55 I often had the Cubase Frequency EQ in the Chain for the Kickdrum only to reduce the level. But often the clipping in the master is making that heavy distortion I like so I bounce it to a sample and reduce the level of the sample to receive the distortion but without too much loudness.

New website is cool, don't stop making KZbin Vids even if it's just some bullshit on the side. Still good tips and fun to listen to good talk about music/scene.
