Yeah, it seems like Sam holds resentment because Jason was moving on with Brit, then Carly, then Brit again, but that's after she walked away from him because suddenly his life was "too dangerous." Then she chose to date a cop, who also has a dangerous career.

Seems she's just miserable and trying to control both. I love Sam and Jason, both individually and as a couple. I think a lot of people are letting their love for Jason blind them to the fact that she's clearly hurt and projecting those feelings onto the situation with Danny, because it's easier than to admit she's also been hurt by Jason's absence as her son's father... Obviously it isn't a fair reaction, but it's an understandable one, and I wonder how many people would actually act differently in her shoes. Nonetheless, I hope they end up on the same side again soon, because their chemistry is through the roof when they see eye to eye.

YES! Yesterday was the first time, since Jason's return, that I have seen that chemistry ignite between them again. I agree that she seems to be upset that Jason was gone for herself although I do think she also wanted him there for Danny. Either way, if it helps move these two together, and helps her get whatever help she needs to move beyond her fear/anger, then I am all for it. Love these two together.

I love Sam. But, I have to say that her character has really been off ever since they aged Danny to have an impact on her relationship with Jason. Meaning back to the Haunted Star storyline. I love her with Dante and the way they couldn't keep their hands off of each other even in the most mundane situations. Buuut, now that Danny has been aged even more, her hot scenes with Dante have pretty much ended, and she has become a bit of a shrew. I hate this for Sam. 😢 The writers need to find a way to fix her character. Sam isn't doing Kelly Monoco any justice as an actor. She's being wasted.
