Genie Francis brought us the "Laura" who looked at Lucky's burned dead body in 1999. This is the same Laura who tore Sonny and Jason to pieces when she thought her son was dead because of their business. Genie knew how to bring that Laura back to the surface, lay down the law, and stand for the innocent people who could get caught or killed in the crossfire. And I applaud Maurice Benard, Genie Francis, and Steve Burton for their performances way back then and right now.

I have always loved Laura and Sonny's relationship. Having been with Luke all those years Laura doesn't judge Sonny for his mob life but at the same time she doesn't let him B.S her either. That is why I was a big Lante fan. The Corinthos' and Spencer's united by marriage. I'd hoped Rocco would be the ultimate bada$$.

Laura is a hypocrite, although she's trying to help sunny and Jason, yet she never came forward about Nickolas crime on shooting Hayden and putting her in that coma. She just like Hayden and Curtis, know's Shawn is innocent... yet still have him lock up. Nickolas back from the dead, and Laura still did nothing about that. Then again she saved Kevin from jail time... with the Ryan situation.
