GH has been getting a lot of hate because African Americans are never in front facing storylines, in fact Vanessa (Jordan's previous portrayer called them out recently) so here it is, a made up story of how Curtis's daughter was kept from him for the last 16 yrs because he was an addict.....no one in the community ever connected the dots between Taggart, Trina and the Ashfords? Ugh what a retconn mess. And they will use the random DNA ancestry test that Trina did to try and make it all come together. The original story was for Aunt Stella's test to update these characters but she was written off to the UK because she is a recurring character on Bob ❤ Abishola

Am I the only one who believes that Taggert is Trina's bio-dad? I have only been watching GH for a few months but as soon as I saw Taggert and read that Trina was going to have an "unexpected family reunion" I put 2 and 2 together and immediately thought that Taggert is her father. She looks like him, and I don't think they asked Real Andrews back to GH after all these years, especially for such a short stint, unless Taggert was going to have a connection to someone other than just being a former colleague of Jordan. Is it possible that Curtis and Portia were lovers at one point? Yes. Is it possible that Portia might cause drama between Curtis and Jordan? Yes. Is it possible that maybe Jordan will be forced to leave town, and Curtis and Portia will re-connect and Trina will have to accept him as her new "father"? Yes.

I have so had it with GH. If they even think about making Trina Curtis’s daughter, I’ll be through with gh. Seems like the only storylines they have working for them are paternity/maternity stories. Lulu needed a test with Charlotte, Finn found out he had a daughter, valentine found out he wasn’t a cassadine, Michael found out that Wiley is Jonah, Shiloh found out he fathered a child with willow, and sonny found out that he was Avery’s father. If I see one more parentage storyline, I’m dubbing this show “General Ancestry”. This show is called General Hospital for goodness sakes. Where in the heck is all of the doctors? This show needs some more doctors!!!! Forget all the relative crap and introduce some long-time friends or cousins at least. But no more parent/child discoveries. It’s getting old and before the months out, I’m diagnosing myself with a serious case of BTDS (bored to death syndrome).
