Gotta love how the GLA is suposed to be seen as this big threat bo both USA and China, despite: -They come from the most underdeveloped regions in Asia -Most of their technology is either salvaged or obsolete (Their most advanced vehicles are from the Cold War era) -Their worker unit is some poor dude who doesn't even have shoes, while the other 2 have bulldozers -They lack airforce or navy -Their leadership is disorganized and prone to infighting

Me too, me too. Playing as the GLA pretty much was a religion for me in my early years as a young gamer and i enjoyed the heck out of it. As a child you see the world with different eyes and not everything is dark and terrible.

I will say GLA is a hilarious and fun faction for me, there is something about a faction that is low budget and accident prone that makes me smile, also the anthrax troopers are equally hilarious. For anyone who do not know, if an anthrax rebel goes against an anthrax rebel, they will both die in time but will die much faster to bullets but will kill any infantry that isnt an anthrax revel near instantly.

man GLA was the best for me despite having weaker early game units, it compensates for not requiring power and very cost effective and Kell was just so fun to use , that feeling when you steal the opponent's dozer is just satisfying as hell

To this day my favorite tactic for both gla and China is to get a bunch of hijackers or black lotus and capture some of the enemy bulldozers and build using a mix of their armies against them

@@lukyshaq41 because they are outdated and boring. Even as kid I preferred to play skirmish with AI, and novadays I'd play multiplayer, and anything else is just not worth the time. I tried to play through all of the red alert games too, and it's just not as fun when there are other games I'd rather spend time playing. As much as I appreciate old games for having been great, they are old games.
