Hello, a question, I have a smart 700 IE HMI and a s7-200 PLC, I can program both without any problem, with my PPI programming cable to the PLC and the ethernet cable for the HMI, I can configure both without problem, the problem is when connecting the PLC and the HMI regardless of whether the speeds are the same, whether the protocol is handled in ppi or mpi, or whether the HMI addresses for ppi are 1 and the PLC is 2 or whether I change it, they never communicate, what would you advise me for this situation? PS: I had a backup for the PLC and the HMI from an old program delivered by the Chinese that is no longer used, the only thing I changed was the s7 200 PLC to which I installed the same program and they do not communicate either... Hello sir, First you can turn off power of you HMI and turn ON gain, while it rebooting you can wait abit then you will see there are are 3 option 1.Transfer 2.Start 3.Control panel Please choose option3(Control Panel) then go to Ethernet then you can change the IP address that you want. Thanks!
