Hello, I've observed that TSD often provides double reinforcement for the slab design... regardless of the span and loading. This don't seem economical. Is there a way to do more economical designs?

Hello Andy, It's true that TSD provides double reinforcement, but in the structural drawing we can provide it with cuts or cranks as per our standard. Software will always design for the maximum loading, but our standard conventions for reinforcements along both top and bottom will be followed in the structural drawing. Hope it helps.
