Hey, you could do this with GeneratePress's Element module, so the Template part plugin is not required. You can simply create a block and replace the header with the GP elements feature.

Another fantastic tutorial, Jamie! But what I don't get is -- what does GeneratePress have to do with it? Granted you're doing this with the "blockified" GP theme. But would not everything you did be equally easy using plain-vanilla Gutenberg? How did adding GeneratePress to the mix add anything?

Great question :) There's millions and millions of sites using classic themes (like generatepress) and now they have a way to utilize full site editing (if they want to) without having to switch themes
