Thankyou so much Aaron for your fabulous and informative video explaining Vision FX plugin, I love it! I am not an artist in the traditional sense but i do love to create abstracts on paper and color them in, I love photography and i have a zillion animal, landscape, nature photos and I LOVE putting them thru the Vision FX plugin..and to see what can be created with this software. I LOVE what i am seeing and I enjoy the expression of what can be created thru the generative plugin. YOU helped me so much in showing examples and to try different wording for the program to work with. I can take what i have into painter and play some more...this software gives me more amplitude in sharing my love for art and creating unique pictures that fulfill my hearts longing to create beautiful pieces to share with my friends and family. Thankyou for your inspiring creations and they are stunning! I enjoy all your videos and i am subscribed to your patreon channel. AI is for continued expression of color, lines....movement...ART! Traditional or otherwise....it does not take away from Artists who LOVE tradtional art that they create and that is also appreciated and beautiful. I love to see what everyone can create!!! Anyone know how to make this appear in corel Painter, I've installed it, but it doesn't get seen after an image is loaded.

Im glad we have choices and not built in by default. This also makes things a lot easier than installing and tuning your own SD. Very cool! Ive been playing around with Photoshop beta that has generative features. This seems like a much better option if you have local hardware with good gpu.

If you cant find it look for the app itself in your c program folder. I cant use it with photoshop which means its useless unless someone can help me out.

Will it work with previous versions of Painter? I have Painter 2019.

I don't see why not. Corel doesn't specify a version in their promotion of it, so I would guess any modern version (X3 or later) should be compatible.

this was a great vid! Thanks for the info. Bought the plugin for photoshop, but unfortunately it comes with absolutely zero documentation and it didn't just "work" after install. No docs, no logs, nothing to show where it installed. Seems like a very neat product, but super immature.

Hello there, Aaron and everyone; I do not have a powerful enough computer, but if I work small can I at least do something with the AI software? I have an iMac 8 gb, and no guts or way to add or upgrades. I thought it was a good price. Also a few months later Apple updated from OSX. I can do well with Painter, and Photoshop, but Rebelle freaks out.

Hard to say if it will run without knowing your GPU and specs. If you meet the minimum requirements, then it will work, just slowly. Using the lower quality setting (Steps) helps.

This just doesn't sit right with me. Like if you're editing your own image you've created fine, just say you used AI. But taking a completely AI generated picture seems wrong. You don't know what AI has borrowed from. And after the new WOTC DnD book with the really bad AI art (that they didn't disclose was AI) my view towards AI art isn't improved. I understand you can use the generated images as inspiration/reference though.

Yes, it works with paintshop pro. Vision FX will not work on its own, it needs some art application like paintshop to work.

I'm a luddite I suppose, been trying to learn how to draw and learn how to do it digitally a long time, but I feel that this this AI stuff is just cheating. (my personal opinion here) if you do that good for you.

@dawnjohnson8738 AI art is a touchy subject with a sizable portion of the creative community. Especially since so much of it out there is stealing from other artists. I personally am against generative AI, but I am not one to attack people. However, I will speak my mind about companies that make creative software that embraced the GAI like Adobe
