Generating New Income Streams, Making and Selling Straw Pellets | HORSCH Farm | FS 22 | Timelapse#27

Welcome back to the HORSCH AgroVation Farm Timelapse. Initially, we connect the spreader to a FENDT 936 VARIO tractor, assigning a hired laborer to spread lime across the field. Simultaneously, we explore additional income sources for our farm, requiring funds generated from the sale of finished products from our existing ventures. Presently, our primary revenue stream is derived from the sale of mineral feed additives.
Upon receiving the proceeds, we channel the capital into new ventures-a dairy and a plant dedicated to vegetable oil production. Subsequently, we transport milk from our cowshed to the dairy, initiating the cheese-making process.
Considering the surplus manure at our dairy farm, we opt to construct a facility for converting the manure into granular fertilizer. Our current focus involves procuring a tank and transporting the slurry for processing.
With uncollected straw remaining in our fields, we decide to explore a new product line-pellets. To achieve this, we invest in specialized equipment, including a KRONE Premos 5000 pellet harvester paired with a FENDT 1050 tractor, alongside a FENDT 724 VARIO tractor equipped with a new loader trailer.
Heading to the field, we commence the collection of straw, processing it into pellets. Utilizing the newly acquired trailer, we load the finished pellets onto lorry trailers, facilitating their delivery to the designated point of sale.
