Molly . I just purchased a used gen 7 on eBay and am wondering if there is a way to tell what gen the pan is when it arrives…just to make sure. Thanks for your videos!!

Are the handpans 440 or 432h hz? Thanks Oh, did you make a video comparing the generation handpans-3 and 7 for example. Thank you.

Great. Is it worth 3x the price? Not trying to be facetious. A serious question. When it goes out of tune and needs to be worked on american makers do not want to work on Chinese pans.

Hi Molly. ,have you looked at Zen percussion Guda 2 with the steel pan option, they sound amazing, I have two of them, they are also much cheeper than other steel pans, and you can choose different colours and any design. I enjoy watching your channel.

Holy cow! You're getting quite the collection of handpans. This one looks and sounds great. I have to say... I really like the kurd scale. It seems well suited to the pan. Nice drum for sure.

It is a great scale! I have ended up with quite a few but I think I'm going to pass a couple on - I love collecting instruments but these take up more room than harps 😂

@@MusicalMollyKhan I know the feeling. I have enough stuff in my storage locker to equip a band. LOL.

Have you heard of the ZenTone?

Only a suggestion.... If you truely want the best resonation and sustain... Axiom handpans.... 8+1 notes stainless handpan is just under $2k... I own 3 of them and im obsessed with getting many more... Jacob at Axiom is a master handpan maker.... They are very high professional quality... Most makers charge $3k for that same high quality... Maybe someday you can own one to.... I promise you will not be disappointed... Peace be with you....

It's this Casio: amzn.to/3mPz7Re It's a fantastic piano! I don't do a lot with it but my kids take piano lessons and it's perfect for their practice 😊

$1400? On Amazon? What!? Does it come in other scales? It's like the Daniel Wables scale is the only one in mass production or something. I don't get it. My hularu double tongue drum is in D minor and it just seems Asteman and other mass produced pans, such as paniverse, are all in the same scale. I don't know why. Do you know?
@MusicalMollyKhan3 жыл бұрын
This is such a great question! My assumption is that it has just kind of become the standard, much like Native American flutes commonly come in the key of A minor. Since they are mass produced, it's probably much easier to make a lot of one scale than to diversify.
