Although I love both Euphoria & Skins I'm honestly tired of people acting like those shows were the first Popular teen/kid show that depicted: Angst , Drugs , relationships , LGBTQ+ & ETC topics....that title belongs to Degrassi which started back in the last 70's . Anyways the people who are complaining about how much you will or already hate this show will most likely " hate watch " it along with the people who will or already like the show , it happens time & time again , A lot of people hated the reboot of Charmed ( just got renewed again ha! ) , Fate the Winx saga ( went #1 everywhere & will most likely get a second season ha! ) , the saved by the bell reboot ( Got renewed ha! ) & etc .

Justice Smith has already won me over with his character Books from The Get Down. SADLY, the show was canceled after a barely-survived 2nd season. I immediately connected with this new role through my tv and at first couldn’t put my finger on where I previously saw him. I am SUPER exited and impressed with his acting range (Wow!) after these two projects and if this is only the beginning, Justice is going to have an AMAZING career!!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I felt an immediate void because it was an incredible show...the storylines, the nostalgia to early hip hop, disco, New York, politics and the angst of surviving the inner city, the CAST, what???!!!! So many talented actors and all so young! I follow many of the projects that this cast have been in because of their amazing body of work thus far. Justice among several others I’ve seen WILL inevitably be a future Emmy, Oscar, People’s Choice awards holder or whatever he sets his mind to!

i think this show is actually a bit more healthier than euphoria (?), i have not seen yet so not sure. but i think it looks more palpable, more real, like at least one of the characters is someone we can relate to or have a friend we can see in them. not to mention the representation is also heavy here from what i'm seeing. i am curious and interested to see it. though i still think it's wrong to compare them when they want to hit different things. but i can see how people are considering how this can be similar or not since it involves same topics but we will have to wait and see. this seems promising.

I'll admit though my teenage years have lowkey been kinda boring there have been some coming of age moments that really changed me. I can't wait for this pandemic to be over so that I can go camping with my friends again, walk home in the dark blasting the shrek soundtrack and go rock climbing drinking kombucha out of thrifted cups till late. I just want to have my kinda trash, mildly depressed crazy yet boring life back. It's not stopped but it kinda feels like I'm in this bubble and I'm so close to being able to break it and breathe again

Teenage angst movie & TV shows sure have became more evolved since I grew up during the 1980s.i remember just watching after school specials on TV & PBS to learn the nitty gritty I watched Degrassi Jr high in the 1980s on PBS it was a very frank drama about teenagers & their struggles in school & at home but it was ahead of its time then to the show became Degrassi high in the early 90s the teen angst was just more obvious as most of the same childhood friends started high school my own high school wasn't much different than this school except their was no social media or cell phones!🙆🙍
