Something that's kinda funny to me is, for the longest time , I didn't even know people had all these different names for different age groups, when I was growing up, the only one I kinda heard about was Gen X, but only heard that in connotations to music, I didn't hear about the others until 4-5ish years ago, during that time I started to notice a range of discussions about Boomers, Millenials, and Gen Z, I didn't know what it was then so I didn't think much of it, it wasn't until I engaged on a poll on IG, guessing the post was pertaining to matchmaking bc in the poll, the description was asking if the audience liked the Disney movie Robin Hood (one of my personal fav movies haha), but it turned up I was the youngest to engage in the poll, and wasn't until that moment when the poster remarked to me that I was a Gen Z that I was kinda realizing what all that meant, but at first I was saying in my head, did that person just call me that?? I dont even know what that is but okay 🤣 it was only after that moment I started to kinda understand, as far as my feelings about it, I dont really like being referred to in such terms, but I've come to understand that people like to put just about everything into categories so its kinda whatever to me haha
