This mod is amazing, by far one of my favorite mods for Frontiers! It’s a perfect combination of Generations and Frontiers Sonic. If you’re a Sonic Generations fan, I highly recommend you use this mod as it’s so much better than the original model imo

If I can ever play Frontiers with mods on a laptop or something, I have a feeling this will be my go-to model for Sonic (though I hope I’d be able to keep the Frontiers running animations because I feel like Generations’ fits more with the “blast through with Sonic speed” type of game Generations is instead of an open world game)

Sonic has not been mainstream for awhile. Its because of hardcore Sonic fans blindly supporting bad games. The numbers will do good with the fanbase but outside of sonic fans, no ones going to buy games made by Sega. You don't see Sonic in every household because Sonic has not been good enough to peak mainstream interest. When i think of mainstream, I think of call of duty, nba 2k, Grand theft auto, Fortnite and many other big name titles. The games don't just appeal to the fanbase but it attracts enough consumers to appeal to all genders, all races and of all ages. Even bringing back old fans who may not have played in awhile. SONIC has not been mainstream since Sonic Dx, Sonic 2 & 3. Forces only appealed to hardcore Sonic fans. Was not good enough to even bring back old fans like myself. Certainty wasn't big enough to attract newer fans. At this rate they will never be mainstream again. Fanboys are too complacent and never demanding more. I could argue that Sonic Mania was it's last peak fiction. It appealed to older fans, hardcore fans and a little bit of newer fans.Classic Sonic was truly their last mainstream games in the 90's.

I feel like that’s starting to change with the release of the movies and Frontiers. Both movies gross around $700M in the box office and Frontiers as sold over 3M copies as of December 2022. The future is looking bright for Sonic.
