Thank you for this video. Very creative. I would really like to see you work with the new Ableton 12 generative capabilities. Looking forward to that!

@@diegoribes1691 thank you so much! This really inspires me to make a comprehensive generative music tutorial, becuse there is so much more to explore. I just really lack the time these days, but I have already started to make my notes :)

Thanks a lot, master! I try to repeat and I did it too! 💫 But how can I save now the audio melody from composition? 😅

trying in earnest to duplicate what you have done here. I am getting music, but I suspect my midi notes are not quite the same as yours. thoughts?

Well, to put it simply, it shouldn't. That is the beauty of generative. The LFO modulating the pitch with jitter should produce different notes each time. But actually it can be the result of many fine tuned parameters as well, such as LFO depth, jitter percentage, etc. And I think that I also forgot to turn the major scale on when recording the video :)

Why is it when I add an lfo to my midi channel, it no longer registers as a midi channel? I got half way following this tutorial, and suddenly my midi channel no longer is outputting midi information. It changes from midi out to audio out.
@MoreThanSilence
@MoreThanSilence 2 жыл бұрын
It usually happens when you put an instrument in the rack. But it shouldn't be a problem, the instrument and the midi fx can be in the same rack, just as audio fx and LFOs for all of these.

@@MoreThanSilence Hi thanks a lot for the tutorial. But I encountered a issue similar that as soon as I insert lfo, piano signal would stuck before the instrument rack and no sound is coming out. I tried around and have no idea how to fix it. Can you help out? Thank you

It’s not “step-by-step”. Assuming that viewers already have something or already know something interrupts the flow of your instruction.
@MoreThanSilence
@MoreThanSilence Жыл бұрын
I'm sorry if you feel that. It is always hard to predict what the viewer knows already. I tried to make the video as understandable for a beginner as possible, but there is always a chance of failure.
@DruPhariz

@@MoreThanSilence it would be helpful to slow it down, speak clearly, and illustrate your instructions. Even trying to take notes, there's gaps of information that you just leave out and so leave it up to the viewer to figure out what you're talking about and what you're doing.
