My small tiger generator goes off after running for sometime at times 10mins or even 1hour. And it doesn't get jammed cos there is enough oil in it, can bad piston and ring cause it? The carburettor is new not sure is the problem. I am suspecting the piston is bad. Thanks.

firstly, check if the generator is supplying fuel from the tap, secondly, if the oil is not well mixed, it could cause it. in which it can affect the Piston.

Reduce the speed and the voltage will regulate to 220v .

It might be overload or the speed of the generator is low.

Noise could be from the engine bearing or shaft. But when generator is running too high or over speeding, it is the governor race

Bro, my 1 month old 4.5Kva Elepaq Constant generator engine speed keeps fluctuating. It slows down to a point where it seems like it's about to stop and then it speeds back up. This happens repeatedly while the gen is running. Is this also a problem with the governor? Thanks.

Firstly, check if the governor spring is in good condition. Secondly, check if the throttle spring is well connected. Lastly, the governor race could also cause it, reset the governor race.

I’m having issues with my generator frequency as some appliances won’t work. My gen is producing about 47Hz while the device needs a minimum of 50Hz. I’ve read about adjusting the governor to reduce or increase the frequency but I still don’t get it. Can you do a video to help out?

Please if I switch on my generator, the choke will always refuse to go back to it's normal position to make the generator steady, rather it will stay in the same spot and be going up and down and it will off on it's own

when tiger generator soak plug, the first thing you should check, is weather the caburretor,is not doing over float. second if the engine block is bad, it also cause it. lastly, excess of engine oil do cause it.
