Genesis 3 8 13 God confronts sin whilst man excuses it

In Genesis chapter 3 verses 8-13 Adam and Eve are confronted by God for the sin which they committed against Him. In responding to God they both sifted the blame. Adam blamed God and his wife and Eve blamed the serpent. The truth is, however, that they did not sin because of external pressures, they sinned because of their inner unbelief.
