Great subject that I have been researching for 35 yrs. The lost ten tribes went with the Assyrians across the Caucuses into central Europe, where they let go.the House of Israel then occupied North Western Europe.Dan became Denmark.there is evidence that Manasseh became the U.S. likewise, Ephraim became Great Britain.

There is a penalty to be paid by a nation that turns its back on the one true God....just look at the nation of Isreal....the Assyrian captivity...the Babalonian captivity...etc...all happened as a result of ignoring the prophets who warned that idol worship...i.e. baal....molech...ashteroth etc....would lead to angering Yaweh and the eventual wrath that occurs for continued disobedience and the turning away from the one who had so lavishly blessed them... I once lived in east anglia....and it saddens me to see how far our 2 nations have fallen....however I live in expectation of the great outpouring of the holy spirit. Until then...ephesians chapter 6 vs 10 -20....we fight not against flesh and blood but against rulers and principalities of a spiritual realm....so stand...and stand firm...

I have great respect for Pastor Melissa Scott and at this present time, She is the best teacher in the times we are living in, but I must disagree with her here. The law of birthright was a given, it went to the firstborn unless the recipient was not worthy to hold it. Like Esau who regarded its worth no more than a bowl of soup. Then there’s Ruben who forfeited it for a pound of flesh. Another point to be made is, the passing of the birthright from father to son was not done by the laying on of hands. Abraham didn't do it that way. The scripture simply says, ' Isaac received all that Abraham had. In the case of Jacob, Isaac didn’t put his hand on him to give him the birthright either. So why would anyone assume Chapter 48 of Genesis is Jacob passing on the birthright to Ephraim or taking half and giving it to him? Here is a bombshell, Jacob had no right to give or divide the birthright, It wasn’t his to give! The law of the birthright also stated it must go to the firstborn Son of wife # 2. Ruben lost his claim as the firstborn [ as already mentioned] and because the Law started it was to go to the firstborn son of the second wife 'Rachel.' Jacob had no choice but to give It to Joseph. I suggest the 48th Chapter of Genesis isn't about a birthright at all but a prophetic blessing Jacob gave to Joseph's two sons for the latter days. I believe Joseph at first thought Manasseh should have been first to receive his father's blessing because he was the firstborn. He says as much when he tries to lift Jacob's hands. But when his father said, ' I know my son I know it ' Joseph began to understand what his father’s intentions were. I would like to know in what language the word ' before' means anything other than, in front of or go first and other words to describe this word going ahead of someone or something. There isn't a definition that comes close to ' in place of, or superior to ' In that word. But that's what many teachers of God's word are trying to say; Ephraim was set before Manasseh so therefore Ephraim was greater, more important, and had superiority over Manasseh. To get a picture of what Jacob said let's put it like this. Quite often when you go to a concert to see a big name in the music or film industries almost every time there's a lesser act comes out first to get the crowd warmed up. Is the act that comes out first more important than who came out last? I'm not trying to undermine anyone here but the best Scholars can be guilty of repeating what others have said in the past about things they didn’t understand. One more thing that has been overlooked in this Chapter is the words,' Great & Greater. ' The Blue Letter Bible has these words in this context, Verbs not adjectives. The words in the verb form mean to mean ' Grow, Grow up, increase, and others. So Jacob wasn’t saying Ephraim would be Stronger, mightier, or anything related to an adjective form of this word. The way I understand it is, that Manasseh will become a large people but Ephraim will become even larger, for he will be a commonwealth or a company of people. There is much more to Chapter 48 than there appears. But will say this, we can't understand completely 48 without Chapter 35 of Genesis because they go together.

What is missing? The blessing of Ephraim on England, will raise up an individual English person within Europe. Not a ruler, that is Judah. Not a priest or religious leader, that is Levi. Europe will unite including Britain, led by Ephraim. Don’t look for the Pope uniting religions, or Governments forming a one world government / religion. The blessing is Ephraim.

I'm disappointed that in these lectures she did not identify who exactly manasseh are. I'm pretty sure it's Germany as Saxons were both German and English and Ephraim and Manasseh lived side by side and moved together. Thus, the British Empire and America are really more like England and Germany moving together. Note that Germany is the most powerful economy in Europe and GB had colonies all around the world, and in America which consists of English & Germans the country consists of the greatest naval force with 750 bases around the globe and also the greatest single country on the planet by most (but not all) metrics.
