@@ashketchup7354 eh, the mechanics of this game are probably faster than ultimate overall, but link is definitely slower comparatively. in ultimate Link does have a respectable speed compared to a good chunk of the roster

thats the thing with fox. shine short hop aerials on shield comes out faster than link can even jump. foxes could literally nair you all day because the endlag for all of foxes move or so minute where as link hits you with an aeiral and he is still in lag for his aerial by the time the fox is actionable again. Its seriously dumb. at low percents your only safe option is to go for bomb throws

Can someone explain to me what happened when link was offstage at 1:40? It looked like he double jumped then threw the bomb then double jumped again into the hook shot. I thought it might have been an air dodge up but didnt look like it so idk

Links' hookshot can't grab enemies from the air, as far as I know. The range wasn't the problem here^^

​@@Mekudan Wait really? I remember that there's a crazy hidden code you can put in for Samus's grab that makes it long and homing, but the tradeoff is that it no longer works on enemies NOT on the ground... So I thought you could grab dudes in the air. If only I wasn't too lazy to test it.

@@Skullmiser You're right with the Samus grab, but Links' grab sadly doesn't work on airborne opponents like Samus' grab. That sucks.
