@@karinagonzalez5374 Canaan had done nothing to Noah. Noah was (made) aware of the actions of Ham. Who (and how dares he) seen his dad sleeping without a blanket. Then the brothers of Ham put a blanket on Noah. Canaan was punished for what his father did to his grandfather.

4:40 exept. the rainbow is just a refraction caused by shining light trough a prism or in this case a raindrop. if rain had existed befrore gen 6 there have been rainbows before. Also, don't youu think it is weird to punish someone's son for the deeds the father have done. and was it the fault of the son of noah that noah had too much wine and fell asleep naked? where is the justice here?

First, many people believe it didn't rain prior to the flood based on Gen 2:6 - "and a mist was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground" Second, Noah's son wasn't punished for His father's actions, but for the way he responded to his father's actions. Its clear from Gen 9:24 that we don't have all the details about Ham's actions. This wasn't just an accidental glance at a naked guy.

@@2BeLikeChrist Noah's son Ham was not punished. The Bible clearly said that Canaan was punished. Maybe Ham was punished trough the punishment of his son Canaan. But again. Why punish the son for the fault of the father. Why punish your grandson if your son had behaved badly?
