Robotech is a piece of shit! This is the original serie.

@@deigo2011 No need to be such a hater. For most of us outside of Japan in the 1980's, Robotech was the only way we could watch Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada and it was a big part of our childhoods. Even though they were altered to suit the narrative, it still proved to be very popular and that popularity still endures today with these original versions.

A great theme song sets the mood so well that you'd sit through a show that's otherwise a 5 or 6/10. Not accusing Mospeada of that, but it wouldn't be the first or last time with Western cartoons or Anime.

Mospeada, which I like many others watched as part of Robotech, was always my favorite Robotech "season". It had the best characters, the best mechas, and the best enemies -- how I wanted an Invid/Inbit warrior toy! (sadly, the toys from that era weren't very good).
@AttentiveDragon Жыл бұрын
Back in the mid-90s, the people who were producing "Exosquad" toys acquired the Robotech license and put out some Robotech toys. There were a couple different Invid models they put out back then, and they were pretty good quality (they had limited articulation, but they were pretty solidly built.)

That was cancelled due to the Japanese company having their hands full with another co-production(given that this was 1982, that show was guessed to be Macross, so Anderson took one part of the concept and so Terrahawks was made, then the remaining part of the concept was split between Techno Boyager and this)
