you are a life saver! just installed some led lights in my car and I had to make my own fitting, i didn't even know the clips existed.

Looks good! I like that the fog light strip isn't sequential. It looks more unison and complete with both sets of lights just blinking on and off.

Where did the wires come out from the fog light bezel ? Did you have to drill separate wholes on housing to get the wires out?

I have a base 3.8 myself and they work. Might be something to do with the 3.8s instead.

Why blackening the reflective back of the high beam and the reflective back of the fog light? Are you NOT using them any more? If you plan on using them then why did you paint them?

How has thoes strip lights held up? Been wanting g to do this as people can't see my signal very well also what length strips did you get
@jared17755 жыл бұрын
Is there a way to do this if your running lights are actually functional? I didn’t even know we had gens out there with fake running lights.
@VehicleEvolution5 жыл бұрын
You’d have to do the same process and remove the existing LEDs and replace that with the switchback strip rather than drilling out the fake ones.

Really useful video with the fogs! Thanks you!
@dlepe3 жыл бұрын
Do you think an led strip like what you used would fit on the other side of where you drilled out the holes, directly behind the plastic lens or would the lens not lock back into place fully? I like how you did it but if I wanted a solid light instead of only shining through the drilled spaces.
@VehicleEvolution3 жыл бұрын
There isn’t enough space between there and the lens of the light.

It’s a Gemini CF hood that I got from GCTuner. GCTuner was great to work with. The hood design is awesome. Quality not so great. I have a video talking about it. It ran about $850

Looks awesome!! Dash tablet install, were you able to fix the issue? I see you reinstalled it
@VehicleEvolution5 жыл бұрын
Yup, I was able to get it to charge correctly by running it right to the aux power rather than to the USB port in the back of the head unit.
@JattRisky15235 жыл бұрын
Vehicle Evolution is it possible for you to do a video on that part? Because I installed the pioneer unit but I’m not sure how to hook the tablet now.

Kind of sucks they did that to the 2.0s though, I've got the LED strip on my DRLs with the foglights, wish they were separate though because man I don't like that yellow tinge glow of the foglights - or rather I'd prefer if it was just the strip that turned on.
@VehicleEvolution4 жыл бұрын
I just replaced the bulbs with LED ones in the fog lights.

I have found a 2015 3.8 Genesis Coupe for sale near me for $13,500. Owned by an adult that says he has pretty much babied his car. The car has 35k miles on it. Do you find this to be a good deal? Will this car last me 5+ years if I'm easy 6/7 days a week?
@VehicleEvolution5 жыл бұрын
Looks like a pretty good deal! 70k on mine driven every day and not a single problem. Maintain it well and it will last.
