I'm 64 yrs, old, that's the Music of my Teenager yrs. As a retiree I've time now to rediscover this Music in KZbin. It's a Blessing to grew up with all those great bands in the 1970ies. Genesis, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Yes and so many many more. In 1975 I went to the Concert in Bern (Switzerland) while they were on Tour with "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway-Show" It was a great time.

That said, I have to admit that Genesis made the most and best impression to me. They are so damn good. Iv no words to discribe. Each bandmember is so fantastic. And when the best musicians come together, you get the best music ever made. I adore these guys. Iv a box with all there dvd's. I told my wife and kids, that when I'm gone they have to put that box into my coffin. So if there is something like heaven, then I will play heavenly music.

I was lucky enough to have seen The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway tour in 1975 and saw them several more times. Oh the 70's bring back so many wonderful memories of the superb music - I saw Rory Gallagher, ELP, Sabbath, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Gentle Giant, Free, Bad Company and more. Long hair, denim shirts, loons and Patchouli - there will never be another such time as the 70's and how I long for those days again.

Yep - how good did us rock fans have it in the 70s???? And back then a joint was a combination of tobacco and some nice gentle hash that made us users giggle, talk rubbish and get the munchies. God knows how they're growing wacky bakky these days but it's making people nasty and aggressive. Stop the world - I want to get off. xx

Daryl Steurmer. They are so lucky that Daryl and Mike are both world class on both lead guitar and bass. They can interchange flawlessly.

When I was a teenager back in the late 70s and early 80s friends and I would earnestly discuss who were the best; Genesis, Yes, ELP, Pink Floyd etc. I was always firmly for Yes, the best prog of the 70s. But I now believe Genesis stood the test of time best.

@@eduardoalcala8310 I can totally see it. They're brilliant entertainers, clowns in the best sense of the word, but you can tell there's a lot of sadness there. Instead of getting miserable they've decided to take that sadness and turn it into joy that they can share with millions of others. (Something along those lines.)
