Genesis Live vs Navionics Sonarchart Live

Comparing the two live-mapping options for Lowrance by running them at the same time on one HDS Live. Genesis Live to the left, Navionics Sonarchart Live in the midle and 2D (regular sonar) to the right. Screen-filming off IPhone 7 using the Link-app. Please note that the slight stuttering seen in the film is from the screen-filming, everything flowes smoothly on the HDS. Which better? I have hds gen3 with nav cards, and using apps for drawing while ff displayed full sonar, the problem for nav is lackof color

I have a carbon and a live unit networked via ethernet using a Active 3 in 1 tranducer. I have a Navionics card I have been drawing maps for past 2 years and now the live has cmaps built in do you know how i can draw both maps at the same time. Cant seem to get it to do it.

Hi. If you want both Navionics Sonarchart Live and Gnesis Live drawn at the same time on the same unit, set up a custom-screen with Map/Map (I`m using Map/ Map/ 2D in the video), then use Navionics as source for one map-view and C-Map as source on the other. KR Erik

Hello.I have a HDS LIVE with two transducer tm185m connect in CH1 and tm 150m to CH2.When i use genesis live with tm 185 it works but when I use the tm 150 it doesn't... Do you know how can I fix it and make it works also when I use the tm 150? Thank you

Hi Nikos. Genesis Live (like all other live-mapping) needs a source for depth, and that source is your 2D-transducer. When you have multiple 2D-transducers like you do, you have to change the source used for depth when you swap between the two transducers. (Meaning, source has to be channel 1 when using the TM185, and channel 2 when using the TM150.) If you overlay depth on your map-view, you will see if the source you are using is invalid (depth will show as ---) and you can change the source to a valid source (Pages-Settings-Network-Sources) depending on the transducer used there and then. @@voronin-dv89 In order to use Sonarchart Live, yes you need a Navioncs card in your unit. (In order to use Genesis Live you only need a blanc memorycard).

Hi Enriko. Yes, both versions of Live-mapping is on one HDS Live at the same time using splitt-screen with Map/Map/2D Sonar.
