PTV & GPO have never got the kudos they deserve for their very early 86/87 tuning in to American acid and house music. This is a fascinating interview, especially the point that even by 1990, most Americans had ever heard of the genres aside from it's origin points in places like Chicago. If they are mentioned at all in the history of house/acid, it's as a curious footnote rather than as a key player.

Truth! Living in Chicago in the '80s it all seemed like a natural progression to us! In the clubs there were no lines between EBM/Dance pop/House.
