An interesting life lived. Genesis engaged me on a train to Brighton in 1983 with an invitation to attend an event with William Burroughs. He was charming and magical. Hope his kids are OK.

Could you explain a little more? Whats trippy is that it was about 20 years between you meeting him and that interview, but now even late night Channel 4 of the 90s is a vintage by gone age we yearn for too.

I met Metzger ONCE in 2009 in Chicago backstage after TG. He thought he was some sort of "TG guard dog" or something! I found him rather unappealing (almost to the point of disgust). To this day it baffles me what Gen sees in him...

Ok so, on one level you can take his disgusting s and m antics, so long as he's only doing it to himself, but let's not pretend it's art, and lets not forget he practised this stuff on children.

any sources for this claim that don't come from the hilarious Channel 4 debacle? Also, define art.

Indeed. In this very interview he is taking credit for things that Cosey Fanni Tutti was actually responsible for...like the tampons and the porn collage. I love what P-Orridge did of course but find them a bit narcissistic in this interview. And the media only listened to him for decades. Never mind the woman. Ugh. Read Art Sex Music by Cosey...
