It is truly amazing what humans can live through. I am in awe of how strong these people are.

Thank you for asking and being concerned. It is greatly appreciated. I have a good life, but I have a form of it. So, my arm has a lot of bone in it keeping it from being fully mobile. Also, some bone in my hand, which keeps it from forming a fist. Certainly not as bad as how most people present though.

This is one of the 'better' cases f FOP i've seen, one woman had her arm removed (when she was a child) because they thought she had multiple sarcomas , turns out it was FOP and now she's living with both conditions

Since osteoblasts help build bone, might good to focus on defects causing overproduction and growth causing it to attack other tissues due to collagen content. Either genetically modify a correct version of osteoblasts or help create a correct version of collagen as it seems the collagen is the type found in bones that trigger osteoblasts into actio

I would try treatment by Dr Bryzneski. As well as the Gerson 'miracle' diet.

Or use weed. My muscles calcify constantly. Dont know if its FOP or something else, its mild FOP if it is, but I just make sure to not stop moving. If I stop using something, or moving in a certain way, thats it, Ill never get it back. So smoke weed everyday and dont stop moving for me. _Like I said, I dont know if its FOP, but I can empathize with their pain because I go through a milder but similar thing._ _For example I have scoliosis, my left ankle is pretty calcified, as well as my left hip, jaw and neck muscles._ _Ask your doctor before doing anything to make sure weed wont cause problems before trying it and DONT SMOKE IT._

Use weed? Wtf? Think of the consequences of stumbling and bumping into cabinets or any number of foolish mistakes. 🤦

I got to this from watching "back and forth forever" I haven't seen a path that didn't lead to something the algorithm pushed on me in years.

I wonder if Quasimodo, or the REAL "hunch back" that Victor Hugo based his character upon, had this? The bone formation looks identical, and not, say, scoliosis. Richard III had scoliosis, it's official. Deformed spine but still agile enough to enter into battle and gain a reputation as a soldier-king.

I can not imagine having this. I am claustrophobic, and I would kill myself if I couldn't move.
@lemonstealinghorsdoeuvre2 жыл бұрын
No, you would _want_ to, but you couldn't move. So you'd have to move to Canada
