It’s crazy that I’m getting ready for med school and still can’t understand the 1/16 on question number 3. Is it because this question is related to the first question asked?

Or is it because each will give us 1/8 probability so we add 1/8 + 1/8 to give us 1/16?

@@Topgear.filmer Do it in parts as I did in problem #2, So... if Aa x Aa , then there is 1/4 of a chance of getting AA; next- cross Bb with BB, and you will get Bb = 1/2, same for Cc. Multiply 1/4 x 1/2/x 1/2 = 1/16 for genotype AABbCc. Do the same for the other genotype and add them up. You will get 2/16. Simplify to 1/8. :)
