Happy birthday! That fluted bowl is gorgeous and I've never seen a backstamp that large. Nice. Ironstone can be hard to find here. If it's at the antique mall, it's snatched up in a hurry. I've been finding a lot of butter pats. I haven't seen the chunky ironstone ones. Mine are all beautiful, but only one white one. I love color so I can't go all white, although I do have a lot of ironstone. My favs have been the gorgeous, large sugar bowls. You got some really great gifts. I don't think, once I knew it was there, I could stay out of that lady's shop. 😮❤

Happy belated birthday! My grandson just turned 9 on June 12. My husband and son in law had their birthdays on June 14. Still not happy that the cup and sugar bowl broke. I’m glad you found another sugar bowl. I’d love to see where you style the sign, I’m glad you went back for it! Love the ironstone, I found a smaller lady finger bowl that has the stamp in the restore in Richmond kY for 1 dollar. I was so excited, it made my day, I also found a large sugar bowl at the flea market for 4 dollars I skipped all the way to the car lol. Happy Birthday Genevieve

That was super sweet of Nick😊 Bless your heart, honey those little times we have this moments where our emotions kick in, our memories bust thru..we just embrace them & let them flow! We all have those times & the memories are sweet😊 Ahhh i saw sooo many good treasures, looks like a really great places to shop! The old Coca cola cooler on that porch.. my uncle & grandpa had a little country store when i was a little girl, they had a larger one like this & the pepsi cola one also! So cool! Those pieces you contemplated on were so darn cute! Never seen ones like those. I've been looking for the white enamel chamber pot with the red ring.. mommy old granny had one when i was like, her home had no toilet. She had running water in the kitchen, but still had an outhouse. Her son finally put her in a small mobile home behind his home several years before she passed.. at 94yrs old! I do love the one you bought!❤ I think every time i go shopping, i come home regretting something i didn't buy🫤 I'm just obsessed with anything large or small that's old & massage of wood..so many awesome wood pieces!! The quilt cupboard was stunning! So were the quilts! Lol i knew you'd go back for the sign😄.. you'll never regret it tho! I have looked everywhere for one of the metal spiky flower frogs with NO luck🫤 I hope to find one eye i get the chance to get out to the stores here in Florida..along with other things on my hunt list! That one was unique! The only butter pat i have is a little white chunky one, which i found in a box of old dishes that were donated to the thrift store we owned back in Tennessee. Girl thats on thing I'm really going to miss is our thrift store! We ran by donations only.. from estate sales, house clean outs, donations.. we had it almost 4yrs. Yep gonna miss it for sure!😕 You could also use the lady finger bowl to put all of your butter pats in! I see them displayed stacked all sorts if ways in dishes like that! The compote is gorgeous! Ahh the famous Caboodle! Its a vintage piece! They came out in the late 1980's.. my daughter was a baby. I had one for her when she did little beauty pageants, and one for myself also! Well you certainly had an amazing birthday out shopping.. so glad you had a great day!😊 Thanks for sharing it all with us!

Happy 29th!!!!!! I had a birthday June 10, BUT it wasn't my 29th (63) and I have to declare that June babies ROCK!!!!!!!!! I also love Crocks, my husband's nice ( is she my niece in law?) does primitive decor and she said she counted and has 100 CROCKS, Some are 50 gallons, she marketplaces....... her home is gorgeous, you would love it! You know, you said you needed time to yourself as a mom. I totally agree, I was a day care mama for 25 years and I watched and cared for and potty trained other mama's children so that I could be able to stay home and be there for my children, I counted and I think I had cared for almost 40 children in that time. anyway, what I was going to say is I know mamas who have NEVER left their children and done a "me" day, then when the child grows up and moves on the mama is DEVASTATED because she thinks her purpose in life was that child and they go through life crisis... Take tme to yourself.... we all deserve it for our own mental health!
