I can’t wait for this game to be out globally. I played with it for a while but since I’m on ios… I couldn’t make any app purchases. I’m thinking of rerolling for a crown card then just going with the monthly subscription. Keep up the content!! Hopefully this game pops off and they release more cards.

dude same, i've gotten 2 copies of all exs on the mewtwo pack but i still don't have a single haunter, it's kinda sad, and dekkster if you are open to deck sugestions the arbok + pidgeot deck is kinda amazing.

You might have a lot of pack points when you press to open packs look in the bottom right and see how many card points you have , haunter goes for abt 70 pts

There should definitely be two toggles, one for supporters and one for energies. Not as relevant once you get some experience, but could really save some new players without having a check every turn for Giovanni 😅

Am I wrong in thinking that you could have just used Sabrina at 19:20 and none of his Bench Pokémon could have retreated? He does have a few outs, like a Misty or X Speed but I think it would have been safer then only betting on the Sleeps.

doesnt matter, he needs 2 points to win and if they swap out for their bench, they can tank a ko and just blastoise the gengar back to win. only way to win was rng the blastoise so it takes 2 hits asleep

They should just let you choose which energy you wanna use for turn if you have more than one type. It’ll make multi type decks more realistic

That would cut out any need to think about your plays though. I feel like there should be SOME cost for being able to play any type combination, since it opens up your options and synergies quite a lot. A less drastic solution would be to make the energy types alternate each turn. That way, you'd still need to adapt sometimes, but the predictability would enable smart play.

Idk how much work it is to constantly have a deck list on screen but if you’re worried about cam being to big you can shrink it so you have gameplay left. Then on right have 3rds: camera, deck list and chat

Can smb explain why you would put Meawth in the deck with 10 damage when there are other basic Pokémon that also only use 1 energy but do 20,30 or even 40 damage with same health?

I wanted to play this game day one and i even opted to get a notification for when it comes out but when I try to play or just load in I get a gray screen for 3-5 seconds and then it closes. I've deleted and reinstalled multiple times but nothing has worked. Has anyone had this issue and found a fix?

Well I use 2 Gengar ex, Gardevoir with 2 poke balls, 2 potions, 2 professors research, 1 x speed and red card, works well for me already have my 50wins easily

Line just means the full evolution line. So the Gengar line is Gastly Haunter and then Gengar. The 2 Hypno lines just means 2 Drowzee and 2 Hypno!

I did. Yes it really is unnecessary. After one ability from gardevoir gengar is already at 3 energy, and you'll be set. I suggest you bring one mewtwo ex, so garde will supply energy for mewtwo in case you cant get your gengar up

So when playing Pokemon, the only reason to play a 2nd benched Pokemon is to play around Red Card So if you just start the game with Meowth out, they don't know what mons you're playing yet. So they take their first turn with less information. I reckon is almost always correct to start with only one basic pokemon out during setup

Pokémon without retreat cost are great to have on the bench, like Starmie or Electrode, therefore you need to play the basic cards as soon as possible. Then you have cards with abilities that need to evolve as soon as possible like Hypno here or Guardevoir, Greninja etc. But even if it‘s just for the sake of Red Card I’d definitely put the mons on the bench. The card sees too much play to be negligent about it and can loose you the game if you don‘t thin out your deck.

If you are the first turn player it doesn’t really make a difference if you put all the basic Pokémon on the bench during setup or your turn. But yes, I get what you mean

@swalbi1579 Truthfully, it probably doesn't matter. But there's an argument that it is optimal. Though I guess if you're concerned about t1 Red Card, you can play enough to go down to 3 cards. Either way I suppose you're looking at niche moments. Though I do think it'll matter more once there's a Ranked mode and higher level play evolves
