That would be quite difficult to pull off but really cool if it happens. To pull it off AND win you have to survive the dnite attack from the bench, ohko the dnite with 200 or else it would just finish the job with a second attack. Sabrina could help if the dnite is the only mon on the bench and you have the energy but that is super inconsistent.

I've done it against Dragonite, but still lost the game. I run ditto with Water + Lightning and Eevee. It's terrible, I love it.

Fun to see as in this game, you don't generally know if you're gonna lose in the first few turns. The luck part in drawing and coin toss probably helps it be more accessible to casuals.

Honestly you kinda know if you don't have certain cards in certain matchups. And the other thing is that you have to play completely different sometimes according to the fact if you're going first or second. It's like a shift in priorities. In a Pikachu Mirrormatch for example, going first player needs to deal chip damage to that enemy Pikachu EX , while the second players prio is to just power up his Pikachu EX and start swinging for 90 first.

I’m enjoying Pocket TCG, as someone who plays master duel I like how there are multiple decks that can win. The coin flip is a real problem as going first sucks and has no benefits at this time, and some of the coin flips in game feel unfair…..but overall I like how casual it is

You say Electric is a trap, but unless I misread the card, Ditto can copy ANY opposing Pokemom's move, not just the active, so you could copy the 50x move from Zapdos EX on their bench

yeah but the problem with copying zapdos ex is you need 3 lightning energy specifically, attacks of psychic and fire decks is better to copy since their cost include colorless energies

I’ve been trying this for daysss. Had a couple wins. Really just ended up building a Mewtwo Ex deck with ditto and Gard. I’ve tried doing a psych/lightning… then a psych/fighting. Nothing great so far BUT definitely more FUN than the main meta decks.

I did it against a dragonite deck. I think a hybrid water + electric is a good mix against meta decks. Water is a little hard to pull off as the best you can copy is Blastoise/ lapras's hydro pump. The rest are mostly 80/90 damage that can't really finish off enemies, ditto's 70 hp makes it good as a finisher and cannot trade Electric is mostly for Zapdos ex. Psychic and fire is fine, but you are essentially discarding energies after attacking which a ditto deck won't have enough energy chargers to recover the next turn.

Also I really hope they can come up with a better system for dual type decks. It seems like a gimp. With a mono deck you don’t have a 50/50 chance of just not getting an energy that turn. And it’s not like Pokémon with dual type moves are so OP that it makes up for it. So really it should be just the energy alternates, or, even better and more equal, you get to select which energy you want.

First mewtwo player should've just promoted his mewtwo early and Sabrina early..Def could've gotten rid of the ditto before setting up the 2 bodies..he could've also not have Sabrina til after that happened tho

ooh, you actually need the correct NUMBER of energy for a ditto attack! i was assuming you just needed one of each TYPE of energy the attack needed. glad i didn't put any effort into working on a deck before finding out how it actually worked. still interesting to have the option to one shot Mewtew and Charizard, but seems like it would probably take too long more often than not.

8:10 why in the world would he not sub in the Mewtwo with no energy?!? Could've easily won the game if he did that, cause then you would have to KO the Mewtwo with no energy with the Ditto and the Mewtwo with energy comes in and KOs the Ditto and thats ggs. And since the Ditto can't KO the Mewtwo with no energy, you had nobody else to KO it and it would just build up energy until it KO the Wheezing and win from there.

Ditto is my favorite pokemon and when I saw this I was like I HAVE TO TRY THIS XD (at the time of this, I've won 4 wins in a row with the deck with the 4th win with ditto sweeping everything. Taking out a mewtwo with its attack and then with gardevoir replacing it from the bench with no energy and then just finished off the fight with gardevoirs own attack too after a 2 shot) 😂

In the battle vs Moltres/Charizard you mentioned that they red carded a “dead” poke ball back into your deck. I screamed, “why didn’t you play it then?” In case you didn’t know, you ARE ABLE to play poke ball even if you know it will fail. As long as you have a deck to search you can play it. This out the hand, and you don’t dead draw if they red card you.

In that case you're only trying to counter Mewtwo decks only. Running the fire allows you to synergize into fighting Charizard Decks as well.

21:00 you should have Koga the weezing, Ditto for 50 on kirlia and she would have fainted due to poison at the end of the turn forcing the mewtwo to be active and if they didn't had a way to switch the mewtwo back it was GG EZ CLAP, BACK TO MD!!

The coin flip on sleep is really annoynig. It takes to long to get wigglytuff set up and only for your sleep to be wiped away by heads every turn sucks. Ditto is way to reliant on energy especially if you dont play turnaments. Unless they fix these issues these cards will never be usefull
