Jebe (Zev = the arrow head as we Mongolians call) was actually from Taichud clan not Chinese, a minor clan which came to prominence in Hamag Mongol confedereacy after Esugei's death, and tried to suppress teenage Temujin (eventhough they were blood related to Esugei's clan, at least according to a legend). That was such a collossal miscalculation, as you can guess. May be this was the reason Chinggis hagan destroyed the trbal structure and created single entity as Mongol empire.One can say all those tribal blood shed problem during and after the US invasion of Iraq had been resolved 800 years ago in the case of Mongolia.
