I never saw where they got the DNA results, so this is cool! Here is where it could have gotten interesting. Tony never says that Nikolas is Stavros' son. There are a number of people who believe that Nikolas is actually Luke's son, and that Laura lied to protect the child so that Nikolas would not be murdered. It is conclusive that Nikolas is not Stefan's, but man they could have done some crazy stuff if it turned out that Nikolas was Luke's son. The storyline would have been insane.

It's not possible for Luke to be Nikolas's father. Timing doesn't work. Laura was gone 18 months to 2 yrs (it changes. In 1983 it was 18 months. In the 90's it was longer). Laura would have had to have been pregnant and showing before she even married Stavros for Luke to be the Nikolas's father. There would have been no mistake that he was not a Cassidine. The show retconned a lot but the couldn't really retcon that. On the other hand, having Luke's kid raised as a Cassidine would have been interesting. Though, never as "The Heir."

@@GaelinW Well.....it depends on your perspective. Laura was gone 18 months to 2 years, as you say; Nikolas is 2 years older than Lucky. Based on that, it is possible for Nikolas could be Luke's. All those years of Luke condemning Nikolas and the Cassadines, only to have it thrown back in his face that Nikolas was actually his son. And, Nikolas having to choke down his newfound heritage would have been insane.

I always wanted Nikolas to be Luke's also. Too bad he's not blonde and blue eyed. It would have been a AWESOME story if he were Luke's. 😎

LOL Helena is a trip. GH made a very wise choice casting Constance Towers as Helena. They got a lot great mileage from her.

Too bad about Nicholas. Silly idea to slowly reunite L&L that went nowhere. Stefan and Laura were establishing a fascinating and complex adult relationship. Stupid writers.
