I think it was simply bc of financial causes. If you don't have money to run a business then you have to shut it down. Therefore I don't think A100 was a bad company but they didn't gain enough money to properly run it

@@pascal5566 No matter how bad their financial situation was, they could at least give us a proper disbandment announcement instead of 3 lines in a KZbin community post with absolutely 0 explanation (at least for NeonPunch we had a video and a proper message and explanation). And they didn't have to remove everything on their KZbin channel, especially not to give it to their upcoming group... If they disbanded XUM with a proper announcement and without touching to their content, we would be sad and frustrated but not angry. However they did things that are absolutely unacceptable toward the girls and a financial situation can't excuse this. After all, NeonPunch actually disbanded for financial issues yet the company did not shit on them like they shitted on XUM...

But whenever I talk about these issues -- the forced disbandment, the abuse, the mental health of idols -- everyone becomes visibly irritated. Sure they'll acknowledge that "there are problems," but they'll tell you this only to shut you up. Everyone wants to enjoy Kpop without feeling guilty about it. It's like the story with the salami. Who cares how the animals were treated, right? The food tastes good. And who cares how the idols were treated? The music is catchy. Then we hear how XUM and even super popular groups like GFriend are no more... 😣

All 3 members were members of the group NeonPunch (with other members May and Dohee) and XUM was supposed to be a sub-unit, but their original group disbanded because of the Corona situation making things hard, so the sub-unit became an independent group. NeonPunch's fandom name was Nellight, XUM's fandom name is AWEXUM.
