I love Lesley, she's a true mother. Always puts her own desires last bc her girls happiness is more important. Nice to see not all soap mothers are shallow and selfish. One major reason GH was so successful was bc of the relationships, and theirs was one of the best.

She had a Bad Drug problem, that is one of the reasons she left the show in January, 1982. She once said in an interview that Cocaine was Everywhere on the Set and other Drugs. A Very Different Time back then in the late 70's and early 80's. I am only 8 months older than Genie Francis and I was a huge Fan of the show.

Tony also had a drug problem then, I have heard, but they have both been clean for years!
