I love to use the background die plates with a mid to heavyweight acetate. I poke everything out and now I have a stencil! So much fun and expands the use of my dies! It’s the typical quick wipe down and I store the template with the die.

A lot of good ideas! Another reason to save the backgrounds is to set the die cuts into to add dimension with ink. It holds the piecss still so they don't fly off so easily, and our fingers don't get so much ink on them, and accidently mess up your project.
