She apparently has studied and worked as a hydroelectrical engineer. But she has released her backgrround for all he doubters. She is also a lot older than most people think. I know of Chinese who have the same skill set as her.

Here in Europe you learn also on professional school welding, when studying mechanic or electrical engine mechanic, sometimes here welds dont look very nice, but its more important that they are sturdy. With better tools she could do it better! Aren't there any tool manufectorers that could sponsor a well equipped tool set to her? When you make a large quantity of cement like you did for the paving of this slab, you can use river gravel to increase the amount of cement you mix at no additional cost. What you need is 1" X 1" sieve that you can take into the creek. Shovel the sand and gravel from the stream bed into the sieve. Let the river wash the fine sand away,. Pick out the too big rocks and you are left with high quality cement gravel! Gravel also increases the strength of the concrete slab.

didn't expect to see quite such a display of genuine skill, hard work, and engenuity!! And she's a petite little lady to top it all off!! She would put A lot of men in my locality to absolute shame! women also. My day job is delivering heating oil, and on one occasion I delivered to an Asian family where I had to go through the house to the tank as their was no side access. A small, late teens little lady answered the door (with a smile ) and guided me through the house, then went out the back door and re'appeared at the kitchen window, took the oil hose off me and proceeded to haul it the rest of the way up the garden to the tank like an olympic athlete!! Wasn't expecting that!! I come across many teens in my country who can barely be bothered to get off their backside to answer the door to me, let alone help in such ways, adults also. most of the time they cause more agro and make my job harder than it should be We have lost something in the west big time, certainly in the last 20 or so years, we used to be industrious like this too.

This girl is amazing. She's like the Energizer Bunny. Nothing slows her down. She's as strong as anyone I know. She can fix/build/create/imagine anything. I believe if you gave her a big enough lever and a fulcrum, she'd move the earth out of its orbit. She uses traditional tools and joinery. She handles a chisel and a saw like she invented them. She welds; She's a mechanic; She's a woodworker and she hammers 6 inch nails and never misses a hit. She's great. The problem is she makes me feel like a lazy slug.. Anyone know how old she is? This girl is an actress hired to pretend to be a mechanic and other skilled trades-person. In reality she can't do any of these things on her own. And if you for one second believe she is doing all this you need some help. She is an actress not accomplished at any skill. At least they should make her look the part. This The girl is an actress. She was hired to do the "ROLE" there is no way she can be an expert electrician/carpenter/is an insult to any skilled trades person. And there are many shorts of Asian women who really do the work. This is not one of them. She is not a mechanic, or an electrician, or anything else.

The next time you pour a big slab like this, use a straight edge (cement screed; can be as simple as a long, straight piece of wood) to level the cement surface before you trowel finish. If you screed your wet cement, that will remove the high spots and fill in the low spots. Then wait until the cement gets leather hard to do your finish float. You will have a much nicer slab. Very nice like the rest of your work. ♥

gosh this takes me back. cutting and welding etc to fix things...very well done....you must have had a very good teacher (like your parents) to show the basics and after that it make it and see if it works..with very few resources..make do and mend...very well done
