Voices sound much brighter in the final production due to added sound effects and sometimes melodine (in Billie's case this wasn't done as you said), when it's live, the voice sounds deeper because that's how it naturally is. They lose some of its magic in studio tracks, and that's why sometimes people say singers sound better live, since there's so much more detail then (she also seemed to be sick in that presentation so that adds to her singing sounding darker).

1). Billie literally makes a point to not use auto tune on anything ever UNLESS it is an artistic choice. 2). It’s so unfair to use this specific clip. She’s clearly either sick or vocally exhausted. And the fact that she did this amazingly when she was sick/exhausted is ASTOUNDING!!! 3). Her voice has gotten lower over time, so the fact that she can still hit those notes (when she’s fully healthy) is awesome.
