People in the United States are obsessed with job titles/occupation and clothes. They think that's the foundation to a relationship😔
@TheMariemarie162 ай бұрын
It's ingrained in everyone from day one. When you start school every single day you are told that the purpose of school is to get a good job. When your parents meet your little friends they ask what job their parents do and everyone is put in a category of who they hang out with based on that. When you get your very first crush your mom and dad will ask what they want to do in life. This is all somewhat normal.

I am positive it assists his current professions but if he gets a wild hair or retires he's a shoo in for voice acting etc. if he's looking for something to do. Which is why she asked in order to answer his question more accurately according to his standards. Her starting the question with “Do I” did come off sassy. She should’ve said “from your perspective is this current outfit a lot of skin?” But I understand how it could be interpreted the other way too.

Imagine going to a store to purchase an item that you weren’t too sure about, and you ask the sales associate a reasonable and legitimate question about the details of the product. The sales associate answers your question with another question. How would that make you feel, and would you be confident in making that purchase? You would feel humiliated, foolish, disrespected, and likely would not make the purchase nor return to the establishment to procure goods from them. Women do this ALL THE TIME, thinking nothing of it, and we as men tolerate this nonsense. Good on that brother for reading between the lines and cutting that exchange off.

Normally, I would agree with a lot of your views, however, I am going to disagree with this one. I don't believe she was giving attitude when she asked, 'do I look like I show a lot of skin?' I think she seems fairly decent, respectful, and humble.
