Great hacks, Kelly!! I would love to try to make the garland and the lamp posts. Re: Autumn decor not getting it's full "time in the spotlight", I have a suggestion for you. I pull out all of my Autumn decor in September, when it officially becomes Autumn. Then in October, I add Halloween pieces TO my existing Autumn decor, because the colors all still work together, especially if you're not into the scary vibe (which I know you aren't.) Once Halloween is over, I simply remove the Halloween pieces and then I'm ready for Thanksgiving! This winds up giving me about 2 full months to enjoy my Autumn decor. 💜

I'm glad your dollar tree got the Christmas light bulbs in this year. Here in Cassville, Missouri our dollar tree had them last year and ours is still working although they do get rain water in them but they still work. Mike's wife L. B

I can definitely see why you want to leave you fall decorations up. They are beautiful! But, the Christmas ones are equally beautiful. You have such a nack for putting simple things together to create something unique and elegant. Love all of it. Maybe you should think about decorating other peoples homes for the different seasons and holidays. I bet you could make good money. But, with all you already do that’s probably not feasible. When Ray fully recovers that might be a good marketing strategy. Prayers for all. ❤️💖💕

I've had those solar lights a few years...of course they worked once ...BUT...now I'm covering them in glitter using mod podge....I LOVE glitter! 😊..... And I will use them indoors in a garland over my fireplace or my sliding glass door!
