Before I BRING MY TREE INTO THE HOUSE I GIVE IT A GOOD BATH, SPRAY THE WHOLE TREE WITH WATER, GET IT SOAKED AND SHAKE OF THE EXCESS WATER AND LET IT SET OUTSIDE OVER NIGHT.

I appreciate the way you used the Hobby Lobby garland as a base for the table centerpiece, great to see something other than "traditional" greens being used as it adds so much more texture. I thrifted a bag of chandelier crystals for $3.00, I love the juxtaposition with the jute cord for that bit of tension. I have a small galley style kitchen, the copper cluster fairy lights are perfection. I collect vintage wood boxes/crates. I love what you did for the island arrangement. I have a huge silver tray and each Christmas I fill it with baubles (ever only the gorgeous glass ones, never plastic!) and battery-powered twinkle lights. Each year I buy another one or two decorations, with my consistent colour theme. This way I can put my big Christmas decoration wherever I like it.

It’s all very well to keep the little lights wound around so,etching to store, but how about the way they tangle themselves when using the, in even the simplest way? Hi Tracey, Really love your decor style! I took some pictures and will try to copy for January. I was thinking it might be easier to throw branches on old tarp or blanket to drag in the house.
