These are hacks to make your life harder. It doesn't even matter if you're on a budget, Harbor Freight has 100% of these "hacks" and best part, if you break it, they'll replace it or your money back. Also, don't splice your wires like that at all.

They do have things to put in the bottom of your shoes so you can walk on the concrete floor while applying the epoxy floor covering but I like you said who does it fit traction on a perfectly dry normal concrete floor now I could see doing it with ice on the lake or walking where there's some ice but a clean dry concrete floor why other then to create chips in the floor

My favorite was using the shovel that they already have to make the sand mold for a crappy tin shovel that probably required hundreds of dollars worth of equipment. But at least it looks like a shovel version of The Elephant Man... Love these videos though....
