Don't use salt on a screw hole that will eventually corrode the screw and cause it to let go, Use a wood pin {Toothpicks/golf tee/spoon handle/etc.} if want to use dust use saw dust and glue.

Yeah... and if there is any chance of it ever getting wet, the corrosion will be terrible, but the salt and the screw's hold will be gone.

that's a good point i forgot about that one, that was a a very stupid one but among only about 3-4 not the normal 50-100% :). Ya everyone should know to use splits of scrap wood or rounded up used paper or nearly any inorganic trash really just not salt I use dried little twigs alot but never toothpicks (anymore), i'm trying to be more ecologically concious but not too ppreachy sorry if i came off that way, atleast i'm not using a fork to hang a little picture hehe (sewing needles sometimes work great for that tho) w love and respect from Canada!

I agree. they are usually loaded with at least half useless, nonsenible or even more difficult but more complex ways of doing things but this one was nearly all pure brainiac solutions. The one where the guys used a fork to hang a picture was ugly as heck if it was drywall he could have used a sewing needle at a 56-60 degree angle those little things have quite a bit of holding power and make nearly no hole. just don't use the sure thinnest inflexible ones (unless hanging something really light. Also the guy that stuck (forever RUINING the critical factory finish on the drill bit and then wasted 3 black zapstraps making more micro-plastics including that stupid cup, just to mix 1/2 cup of epoxy/resin/activator/colour was mind dumbingly stupid. Popsicle stick or two would work just fine, i've been using a bent a peice of thicker bare wire or even part of an oldmetal coat hanger, i twist them into a spiral or like a kitchen honey utensil or whisk :) Good gomment! -respect and love from Canada ;]

Why are so many people so negative and just rude? Constructive comments are helpful, being a jerk really just isn't. I was born in the 80's, and I remember a well known saying, "if you don't have something nice or helpful to say, don't say anything at all". I think this should still apply in life and needs to continue being taught, because everyone having platforms for the world to see their stupid comments is a huge problem now. I'm curious what kind of electrical circuit is involved with the the tip of twisting wire with a drill. If that is 120v or 240v, soldering it is a bad idea. A line at that voltage, if it overheats can melt the solder. A wago connector or wire nut are safer choices.

Since my career is in maintenance, I know that sometimes you just can't get the part. Usually, if I can't get the gear, I'll have one made out aluminum. That's what I do for anything that I personally own. But, that was definitely slick. Will certainly get you out of a bind in an emergency.

If that piece of surgical tubing (connected to the tire valve that was that inflated by the air pump) worked so well… Why did you need to do the jump cut in the video between 2:25-2:26? Riddle me that Batman. You edited the video right there where it didn’t completely stop the leak so that you could tell your bff to go turn down the pressure to completely off. Judging by the low psi (20 to 30 max) that was coming out of that electrical conduit (not PVC) - you probably have the other end connected to a submersible pump of some sort and that you could easily unplug or just turn off. Try doing that with a real waterline break where the psi is about 60-80…. You won’t even be able to get that piece of surgical tubing into that pipe… Let alone your index finger. I award you zero out of 10 points for your ridiculous hack.

The monoflat hinge is just what I need for an upcoming kitchen remodel. I want a cabinet that can be left open. I didn't want to use a sliding door or roll up.

Do you know what duct tape is? Just wondering, as the car door repair was done, using packing tape.

Plumbing supplies, pvc pipes glued together to match configuration of your drill. Most building/Plumbing suppliers can help pick the parts by showing video or print a photo from the video.

I wish you wouldn’t call packing tape and painter’s tape “duct tape” when it very clearly isn’t.

0:17 Duct tape? lol....... Try packing tape Einstein. 2:43 And that's not for increasing the diameter as that would be pointless. It's for a repair. Going back to the joint closest to the leak, cutting it flush, heating then removing the remains of the leaking section. It's saves time and money by letting you replace only the leaking section.

What was the music playing? The only one you have listed is not the one sung by the woman in most of the video. Shazam, and Google couldn't recognize it. Please let us know what the piece was! Thanks for the video!!!
