Really liked the aesthetic of the home. Very warm and inviting. Also loved the parking spot with it's amazing views. I personally would not care for a ladder situation to access the bedroom, but that's a personal choice.

One of the nicest tiny homes I've seen. As a claustraphopic I'm not keen on loft bedrooms but this one is so light and airy looking with all those windows looking on to gorgeous countryside.

Swiss chard, spring onions and radishes might be good additions for the garden! All able to be planted close together in a compact space and quite well suited to the Scandinavian climate, I think. Depends if Maria likes peppery flavours, though.

What a beautiful build, and what a charming little home Maria has made for herself! I loved the fact that Maria was able to build inside as well as outside her house. I loved the wood couch outside, the planters and deck. It's amazing what we are capable of doing when we put our minds to it. I actually caught myself thinking "hey maybe I could do that too." I've actually started saving plans and designs. As well as looking into a woodworking class. I loved every aspect of her build. I felt encouraged and empowered to consider going down this journey myself. You could see the satisfaction and pride on her face when she shared how she also helped build it and design it to a t. The only thing I'd alter would be in raising up the living room a few more inches, only because I have arthritis and you would not catch me crawling in to that bottom space, lol. Plus what a beautiful spot she found to park her tiny. I would love a similar set up. Well congratulations to you Maria, and thank you for sharing your tiny with us all ❤️🎊🏡🎀

At first I wasn't keen on the raised living room, but then one thing made it click for me. It would make that house perfect for my cat. Because of how it's laid out, my cat could get up to the sleeping loft by going into the living room area and walking along the top of the kitchen cabinetry to get up and down from the sleeping loft! As an additional bonus, the litter box could be kept in the storage area under the living room. Still accessible but out of the way. Beyond that, this house is amazing. It has most of the stuff I'd want. Incinerator toilet (a standard flushing toilet would be fine too, but I wouldn't wanna deal with compost), dishwasher (screw washing dishes by hand), washer/dryer combo (need to be able to do laundry in house). About the only thing that isn't quite what i want is having to use a ladder to get to bed. I could live with it, but it wouldn't be my first choice. But hey, when cramming all those wants and needs into such a tiny space, sometimes you have to compromise. In any case, great house!

This is the second time in 2 days that I have seen a range top next to the refrigerator. Think folks…..heat element next to the cold box? How is this efficient or even smart? Perhaps moving this whole setup about 6-8 inches to the right would solve this problem. And there should always be a clear space next to the fridge door opening for efficiency and ease of operation. Kitchen designers opinion.

The most important information for me is: On whose ground is the house? Does the land belong to relatives or is it rented? Or tolerated for a limited time? In Germany, for example, it is not easy to find a property on which a tiny house is allowed.

The rules vary in Norway depending on which county you live. Some counties have banned them, some require a permit, some have set rules and time limits but it varies so much for each little area.

@@TinyLivingScandinavia Thanks for the answer. I would find this information important right at the beginning of every video in every country. That way you can get a better impression and it would be good for decision-making. Maybe you decide to go to another country because you can live there as you want.

Hi Marianne, I actually have the same washer/dryer in my own tiny house and it does a great job - the only thing is that you need to do slightly smaller loads than a regular washing machine so that it dries fully. Overall I’m very happy with it and would definitely recommend to others 😊

@Widdershins.
@Widdershins. Жыл бұрын
It's my (very limited) understanding that you must include urine with your "deposit" to ensure there's enough weight to make the whole thing fall below the trap and into the flames. If you don't include urine, then adding water will provide the extra weight needed. Too light, and the "package" will not drop far enough, and the flames will occur ABOVE the trap door and inside the toilet, which is obviously not an ideal outcome.
