After watching this video, I went into my son’s bathroom & cleaned 5 years of hard water deposits off tub/shower faucet & water handle in less than 10 minutes using BonAmi and a little water (to make a paste) applied to the corner of an old washcloth. AMAZING!! The chrome looks like it’s NEW!! Why didn’t I think of this? LOL BTW, BonAmi is very similar to Barkeepers Friend. THANK YOU for this GREAT tip!!!

Thank you! Tried the vinegar and dawn for an hour, scrubbed. Still water spots. Tried Dawn power wash and vinegar. No change. Then Barkeepers friend, looks like there brand new!! Hoping I can just stay with vinegar and dawn from now on and keep up with the spots before it takes the scrub. So glad it worked!!!

Bar Keepers friend in all forms (spray, powder, liquid) are staples in my cleaning stash. Works on glass in the kitchen, bath, auto, etc. Proven, years old remedy. That plus Vinegar & Baking Soda is all that I need.

I have a tip for you, try pure citric acid. The citric acid dissolves hard water stains. Dab a little onto a paper towel and let it sit on the water stains for a few hours. Then just wipe with a damp microfiber cloth or sponge and you're done. Excuse my bad English, I'm German. 😊

Not sure if this was already answered.. Have you tried buffing out scratches from windshield wipers with the BKF Soft Cleanser? When I run my hands through, there are no tangible bumps which makes me think they are simply light scratches on the outer surface I keep noticing lines remaining on the windshield after wipers turn on to clear rain or washer fluids too .. and have been looking for a way to safely buff them

This does not work if the hard water spots have etched the glass, which is more often the case. For mild water spots, it works, for hard water, mineral deposits, no dice. Sorry, we are all looking for the holy grail product and this ain't it.

If yours or anywhere is bad as mine were I took mine and put them in the bathtub and then I completely saturated them with the totally awesome cleaner that you get at the Dollar tree and then I let them soak overnight and took them to the car wash and clamped them up and put it on rinse and stand is safely into it without getting yourself hurt and spray it from the top down and be prepared to stand there a while cuz it'll take a little bit of water to rinse it off and then boom then let them dry in the sun and they love brand new I hope this works as well for you as it did for me

I don't think this a good idea on glass, the best is vinegar that will dissolve the calicum easily. Then you can polish it with New Finish car polish, it will look brand new.

I would not recommend you use that on your paint. Try using rubbing compound followed by way. It will remove the hardwater and prevent future buildup.

IT REDUCES the water stain footprint but won't remove them. I've used the powder version which is actually more powerful and can tell you this product won't remove the stain mark. The only way is to combine this with other methods and products such as machine polish but be extra careful not to break or crack your glass
