I was a junior in high school when I first heard ‘Day n Nite’; going through some heavy heavy stuff, not knowing where to turn or who to believe, lost and afraid. I listened to the rest of the album throughout my college years, drinking and smoking and trying to forget about the harsh realities of life. When I say this man and a huge majority of his music saved my life. I may not mean the same sense as other Cudder fans that it stopped me from hurting myself or stop me from being pushed to suicide. I mean that I may have ended up on a dark path of no friends, family or any hope for life whatsoever. Because of Scott Mescudi I have a clear vision of who I am and where I want to be in life. Most of all, that whatever I’m going through won’t last forever no matter how bad or world ending it may seem to me. Thank you Scotty for everything. ✌️

This album played such a huge part of my life. When I was a senior in high school I struggled with doubt and anxiety and probably depression. I self medicated by smoking a lot of weed and I listened to this album ALOT. I couldn’t really describe my feelings and thoughts at the time. I was just too young and naive to look inward. Once I listened to the album it just put all those thoughts and feelings into words. I used to ignore those t&f because I thought I was alone. Knowing I wasn’t alone gave me peace and understanding of others. This album changed how I viewed the world at the time. I go back and forth whether I think this was a positive time in my life. I can at least say that I’m confident that part of my life happened for a reason. Peace out y’all✌🏻
