Kanye & Cudi made me fall in love with music (808 & heartbreak had a big impact on my life). I was a freshman in college in a small poor country in Africa, away from my family with no friends, and obviously got bullied and all. But I held on strong. Ye has earned the GOAT status no matter what. He's just ahead of everyone else. And obviously, Cudi has been solid rock ever since. An absolute definition of Change.10 years later Kids See Ghosts is also changing people. They have transformed not only music/art but also generations of people. Thank you guys. I had the honour of meeting Kid Cudi two days ago. He signed and dedicated my MOTM Vol I vinyl for me. I was shaking and crying the whole time. I might be bias from how much I love and respect him, but he is the very first person I've met who's had an extremely strong aura. His energy is overwhelming, but in the best way possible. He pulls you with his presence alone. He's the best. 💜🧡💙

I was a junior in high school when I first heard ‘Day n Nite’; going through some heavy heavy stuff, not knowing where to turn or who to believe, lost and afraid. I listened to the rest of the album throughout my college years, drinking and smoking and trying to forget about the harsh realities of life. Now, older and a bit wiser, I listen back and give thanks to an album that felt the same feelings I felt, that gave me a comfort and still gives me a comfort to this day.

When I say this man and a huge majority of his music saved my life. I may not mean the same sense as other Cudder fans that it stopped me from hurting myself or stop me from being pushed to suicide. I mean that I may have ended up on a dark path of no friends, family or any hope for life whatsoever. Because of Scott Mescudi I have a clear vision of who I am and where I want to be in life. Most of all, that whatever I’m going through won’t last forever no matter how bad or world ending it may seem to me. Thank you Scotty for everything. ✌️

This album played such a huge part of my life. When I was a senior in high school I struggled with doubt and anxiety and probably depression. I self medicated by smoking a lot of weed and I listened to this album ALOT. I couldn’t really describe my feelings and thoughts at the time. I was just too young and naive to look inward. Once I listened to the album it just put all those thoughts and feelings into words. I used to ignore those t&f because I thought I was alone. Knowing I wasn’t alone gave me peace and understanding of others. This album changed how I viewed the world at the time. I go back and forth whether I think this was a positive time in my life. I can at least say that I’m confident that part of my life happened for a reason. Peace out y’all✌🏻
