Blade isn't a problem with lifeweaver afaik. You never waste a dash going into a team if you aren't tracking their abilities, you dash into them, blade and have your dash again for any abilities they'll use to escape.

I've accepted that Genji is just an old school hero who's been made to be powercrept by the cast of characters for the sake of the casuals sticking to the game. Kinda like Doomfist. Defeating the enemy team is a whole lot easier if you have 4 diamond or gm rank players in your team,,,, can they get that rank by playing solo idk? Streamers often play with other gm rank streamers or other gm rank players and that gains a huge advantage over the enemy team if the enemy team plays solo tbh,

I wish they'd focus on balancing heroes around a skill-risk-reward ratio being as close to a 1:1:1 ratio, instead of balancing around pickrate and winrate stats (including quickplay stats) which are so vague in what they tell about the strength of a character. Genji is a great example of his skill/risk requirements not matching up with his reward values well enough. But the stats say otherwise and people use this to say he's balanced

i know this is a joke, but in reality genji can still easily blade, just now weaver is a priority target. if you jump weaver, you can get on his platform AND he cannot protect himself so its a free kill. and if he makes a mistake, he might just accidentally pull up your next target for a free kill also. honestly, despite all the fancy moves he has, he's REALLY frail due to his tank sized body ON TOP OF his petals ALSO being a hitbox. if weaver gets dove, he's dead. i think its okay though, his damage and healing are pretty good, his utility is amazing, so i think his hitbox balances him out. its funny, on paper he looks REALLY agile...but in practice its like...when the enemy can threaten you from almost three times as far as other supports, his mobility might as well not exist lmao.

@@Teeleer playing support against genji isn't about damaging him, it's about nullifying his blade. you can play bap and do that on a 30 second cooldown with lamp, you can pop trans, beatdrop, nano his target so he can't reset, guardian angel, literally EVERY support, some not even in their ult but like every ult, completely shuts down genji blade and you only need ONE of them. remember you have two supports. now lifeweaver can just yeet his teammate who's about to give genji a reset and let him cook into narnia and that's it, blade is done, if you dropped nano on him (which you basically have to do to make it anywhere near decent as an ult now) you've burned two ults and got countered by a 20 second cooldown lifegrip. he definitely needs some compensatory buffs especially since he lost the ammo and movement speed buff from the old DPS passive and never got rebuffed cause of it.
