awesome video dude! i know it’s been 2 years since this was uploaded so i was wondering how was the long term usage? and are the back magnets strong enough to support the weight of the flip cover itself?

Thanks! The magnets are strong enough. Long-term use was good - I switched around with some other cases in the meantime but this one did not give me any trouble.

@@luqmans7 alrite man, so far, for my switch lite, i got a zip-up carry-bag, a standard silicone case that is as simple as they come, and the genki. I use only the genki. It is THAT good. It got no capacity for switch game cartridges but that just means more fun shopping for accessories to store the cartridges. I got the genki and NEVER touched any of my other cases ever again. Now i have to look for opportunities to buy a switch for someone else so i can get rid of one of my cases.

And along with the genki, i also carry a magnetized, gengar illustration flip-box that discreetly stores 12 switch game cartridges in a silicone holding (so no potential damage to the cartridge), all of which goes inside a cheap Converse-brand shoulder man-purse that’s probably cheaper than an official nintendo product. Might sound like a lot of shit, i don’t know, but i work an office job and this set-up is suuuuuuper discrete for work.

@@nameputhpong9041 nice man thank you for the reply. Now I’m eager to try the case. Just bought my lite and I want a case that have removable front flap. This Genki case is the only case I could find which offers not only that but slimness without adding too much bulk. Thanx for the reassurance 🙏🏼

Does it fully close with small thumb grips attached? And if it closes with the thumb grips on, can you you press the control sticks while the cover is closed?

If they are small enough I think it does close, but even then it would be pressing down when closed. Personally I would not use this type of case with thumb grips.

No, with the Nintendo one I had to remove the thumbstick covers.

Sorry I can't compare weights at the moment, but I seem to recall that the Nintendo case is a bit lighter
