It was an insect that flew in front of his face. You can see it dropped down. Looks like a dragon fly. Even tho Kintaro tried to muscle up. Lol so cute 💗

I slowed the video down and watched and it appeared to be a hummingbird that frightened Kintaro. It's size and the humming of it's wings probably scared Kintaro.

It's summer time,and insects are getting large,so anything flying by would be a little scary,but kintaro runs to mom genki for protection.A minute later,kintaro is happily playing,thats the way it goes.

That looks like a big tick on his right shoulder. They get fat like that, then drop off. I used to have a very shaggy Saint Bernard, and we were forever picking ticks off her in the summer. The ones we didn't find looked like the one on her shoulder.

I worry about Kintaro resting on concrete! Has anyone watched the D’Jeeco family at the Taipei Zoo? It’s lush with grass and foliage. I want that for the Momotoro family as well. The enclosure is so bleak and sad.

I agree. I've seen some amazing, beautiful enclosures for many kind of animals, including gorillas. This place is just NOT amazing or beautiful. It's drab, small and gray.

Agree Gorillas habitat is grass and trees not dirt I don't get it and I think that's why they have such skin issues too always getting sores and it's so small I mean boring and small they're so sad looking they don't have any kind of puzzles to play with food puzzles any enrichment whatsoever it's not a way to live it's like a freaking prison maybe everybody should start writing the zoo my problem is it would have to be in English I hope they have an interpreter but something needs to be done it's sad

I love seeing these videos. Makes me wish more people would see just how much babies need and rely on their mothers. For anyone in this world who harms, hurts, or kills these precious animals may God deal diligently with them. I hate to see animals in zoos lacking natural resources but it does appear these gorillas are safe and fed. Nice to see they are reproducing as well. Blessings 🙏❣️

The 'glassy dragonfly' nw looks like it may be the glass reflection images from a visitor on the outside.😲 😆 Oopsie! Sorry my bad. Sometimes, we wanted so much to find smtg we are looking for that our eyes seeked earnestly to visualize it. 😬 . Sorry too, Kimberly Webb ✌. If its not some insect that spooked Kintaro, then its scary to really know what made him turned around and squeaked so squeamishly. Poor kiddo.

Yeah as far as I know there are six channels excluding this channel. If mine is added , the total number of th channels would exceed six. On some other channels they upload videos featuring other gorilla family in the meantime. Therefore it might be more than seven or over. I am not sure whether other video distributors reply to questions from viewers, though.

I think that the inside of their area is not very clean as usual . I have seen a decrease in the care of the exhibit. The fresh grass that Maramoto likes is dried and dead areas on the top.

Hey keepers in better watch genki she is hurt all the time. All of them have had more injuries since the new keepers arrived in what's going on? If u don't know how to take care of the momo family in get someone that does.open up a go fund me page& we can help with expenses. Pay more attention to the momotaro family see if they are stressed out. Momo gets mean if he gets hungry.suprized Kingston didn't t break his back or a limb. He loves to climb in no fear. He's scared bwcause an insect flew at him. Gentaro was nowhere near when the little devil freaked out. Watch the video in slow motion and you'll see the bug --- and you will see that Gentaro had nothing to do with the incident.
