Geno snubbing Candace Parker by leaving her off of the 2016 Olympic team says everything we need to know about his character. He waited all that time to exact revenge against her for committing to Tennessee and then terrorizing his teams (she never lost to UConn) while winning two titles. And, to add insult to injury, he did this the year Pat Summitt died. He's a good coach but a reprehensible person. He won those last four titles because of the vacuum created by Pat's absence. He will never, ever be revered the way Pat is, and I can't wait until he's gone from the sport.

Per one of Pat's brothers, the real rivalry stemmed from Geno telling recruits parents that their daughter would become a lesbian if they went to UT.

That makes absolutely no sense. The amount of women who are lesbians in women’s sports is staggering. I think women who are top athletes have elevated testosterone to begin with. I have been around a lot of women athletes and the good woman’s are definitely a bit different. Way more competitive, aggressive. Not that this is bad, just how it is.

+Kim M um Kim did we listen to the same interview. One you can be born anywhere but where you are raised is another thing. Yes, she is from Suwanee which is in the Atlanta area and in Georgia Suwanee is considered Atlanta because it's in the metropolitan area. Now he was referring to Maya Moore and Pat was pissed that she lost the recruiting war with Geno to get her. So there is no need to correct me on this as I have read about this plenty of times, heard both sides from Geno and Pat. But thanks for attempting to correct what you think is right!

MrHighPerformance Yes she lost the recruiting war because of a stunt and recruiting violation by UCONN...he cheated and bent the rules to get Myra Moore

there were no bent rules. upon gave maya moore a tour of espn that is open to the general public, she is apart of the general public therefore there was no real violation. plus the NCAA ruled all of the other accusations Summitt made to be void and false
